CCSD is a clinical coding company that specialises in transforming detailed patient medical records into standardised codes, which are essential for the accurate tracking, billing, and analysis of healthcare data. They work closely with key clients and partners such as the NHS, private healthcare providers, and health insurers like Bupa, Vitality, AXA Health, and Aviva. These collaborations ensure the precision and compliance of medical coding across various healthcare sectors, streamlining processes for both providers and insurers.

As part of my role as lead designer, I helped CCSD develop a modern logo and brand identity that reflected their commitment to precision and clarity in the healthcare industry. I introduced a comprehensive set of brand assets, including a refined colour palette, to visually represent data—key to their services—and enhance the way reports are presented to clients. A key aspect of the redesign was the creation of an abstract icon for the logo wordmark (morphing speech bubble), symbolising the transformation of patient records into standardised codes, while also embodying CCSD’s role as the "A common language for private healthcare." Additionally, I redesigned their website and client dashboard, prioritising user experience to streamline navigation and ensure seamless interaction with their extensive data-driven offerings.
